Well, here we go again. Just got confirmation from Dr. Yashodhara as to how this cycle will go. When we start our meds., when we go for our ultra sounds and blood work, etc. etc. It's starting to become a reality and August will be here before we know it! We are still searching for our meds. They are gonna cost us a bundle this time. Triple the dose for 11 days (WHOA!) We almost feel like old pros now going to India. It certainly will feel a lot less stressful with all the knowledge we have gained.
Some really exciting news! I added our Surrogacy Support Group
so we can help others and answer some of their questions, share our struggles, hopes and successes.
I think I finally got Gerry to work on some 'tips' for our BLOG for others embarking on their own India adventure's to read. So stay tuned for that.
Some great couples we have met through the common bond of surrogacy are headed to India in the next 2 months to visit our Docs and we wish them the best of luck in their own journeys and hopes for some very happy endings. We send our love and prayers to these very special individuals who have been here for us every step of the way.

Happy Birthday to ME!
Yep, today was the BIG day one year older and my clock is ticking louder then ever....
Actually, I really had a nice Birthday. Frankie woke me up with plenty of kisses (that's the best!) I arrived at work to find my office, yet again full of decorations. I work with some great girls! My cell phone didn't stop ringing all day, from my Sweetheart wanting to be the 1st one to wish me a special day at 0630 (Trust me Honey, you were definitely the 1st! ) to Mom and Dad, to friends in Florida and family in Canada. Then to arrive home from work to many emails, Facebook messages, phone messages and e-cards coming as far away from as India. I barely made it through dinner with Jackie (my BFF) when my phone rang some more.
It truly was a special day and it makes me realize how blessed I am to be surrounded by such wonderful people who fill my life with love, support and pure happiness.
Thank you all, you made my big '38' a day to remember!

Starting back up again...
Well trying very hard to get back in the swing of things. Looking for some cheap (as in inexpensive) Gonal F since it appears we are going to be using a pretty high dose at 900iu's for 11 days. Trying to figure out the days that will work out best for us to travel after Gerry returns from Texas. Just simply trying to get my head in the game again. I have to apply for my U.S passport now and then reapply for my Indian travel visa, talk to my boss about time off, find medications and set up ultrasound dates, pick a new surrogate, coordinate with the Docs....
UGH... I need to slow down take a deep breathe and believe it will all be okay.

They call me, 'Princess Red, White and Blue'.
Yep, its official the Canadian girl finally became a full fledged American as of Thursday May 22nd. At work they had a surprise celebration for me and I walked into a fully decorated office. What a wonderful welcome at my new job!
Had a great long Memorial Weekend, as Gerry was able to make it home for a short but sweet 2 days. We went tubing along the Salt River and just enjoyed some quality time together. It was SO awesome to see him and we both agreed that 'absence does make the heart grow fonder'. We are still trying to figure out how we did it for 10 long months when he was serving in the war in 2004??? Apparently we are both getting sentimental in our old age as it is definitely harder being separated now then it was back then. Without sounding too corny; we both agreed we have fell more deeply in love over the years and hate to be separated! Frankie was so very excited to see him, her tail went in circles over and over again.
We have been in constant contact with both the Docs and they have recently graciously asked us to be a spokes person for them on their new blog for Surrogacyindia: www.surrogacyindias.blogspot.com I am honored to be even asked to do this for them both and hope to do them and the company justice. We have already referred a few couples to them and hope their experience is as wonderful as our was.
We are still seriously looking into returning to India in late August for a second go around. The Docs are currently in talks about our options to hopefully increase our odds and make it a happy ending.
